Quality Built’s HomeID^® enables builders to communicate with homeowners before, during and after the close of escrow. Home ID^® is a secure and easy way to share construction photos, floor plans, warranty manuals and owner’s manuals. The builder controls the content and may easily assign documents to one or many homes through the Quality Built Information Network (QBIN). Post escrow builders may continue to use the site to send out newsletters, updates to manuals or alert homeowners of product recalls.

In addition to accessing the information uploaded to the site by builders, homeowners may elect to add their own personal documents which can include home maintenance records, plans and permits from a remodeling project, or a home inventory which would be easily accessed in the event of an insurance claim.

Should the home be sold, homeowners may choose to remove personal documents and transfer rights to the site and the builder-provided documents to the purchaser as an added benefit of the sale.
