Stan
Luhr: Architect of Quality Built®
Stan Luhr is nationally recognized by top builders, insurers and attorneys
for his innovative and successful risk-management strategies. Luhr began
his career as a general contractor, then lent his construction skills
to help solve complex litigation cases.
In 1994, after investigating thousands of building failures, Luhr merged
the lessons learned from his work as a forensic investigator with a specified
quality assurance strategy that has since become the most innovative and
successful builder risk program ever.
Today, hundreds of the nations leading builders, from small, family-operated
businesses to the largest national builders, utilize the Quality
Built®
program to reduce construction risk, save money and build safer, more
energy-efficient and durable homes.
Luhr is credited with many industry-leading innovations and encourages
builders to "inspire quality from the top down, but educate quality
from the ground up." His philosophy of education and process control
mirrors many well-known quality management models, but is geared specifically
for the challenges that homebuilders face.
Quality
Built®
is credited with many industry firsts, and Luhrs keen insight as
a builder, business professional and construction consultant have provided
the practical tools to develop exceptional risk mitigation strategies
that are backed by experience and dedication to the homebuilding industry.
