Lennar - Nevada - Construction Manager, Brook Marker - Honored to be Nominated for the 2017 Quality Built Superintendent Award
Fort Lauderdale, FL (Feb. 08, 2018) – Lennar is a national homebuilder that was established in 1954. In construction, the Superintendent of a job holds a major responsibility on their shoulders. In 2016, Lennar’s Construction Manager, Sam Martinez, from their California Coastal division was the award recipient of the QB Superintendent Award amongst the thousands of superintendents that Quality Built interacted with throughout the year. In 2017, their Construction Managers, Colin Freeman, from their Northern California division, and Brook Marker from their Nevada division, were both nominated for the Superintendent Award. Of the two that were nominated, Colin Freeman was the 2017 QB Superintendent Award recipient from amongst the over 3,500 different projects Quality Built inspected throughout the year.
Quality Built was impressed to see that Lennar was the award winner of the Superintendent Award two consecutive years in a row. This type of consistency in quality, especially amongst varying divisions, is not easy to accomplish, and it proves that Lennar is dedicated to hiring and training the right employees.
It is an honor for Brook Marker to be nominated for this award, as he stood out amongst the thousands of Superintendents across the nation in his dedication to quality work. According to his local Field Consultant, Victor Sanchez, “Brook consistently follows through on scheduling and rescheduling his projects. He is highly adaptive and is an effective communicator. A good Superintendent and a humanitarian throughout his work, certainly a pleasure to work with.”
