Meritage Homes - Tampa - Construction Manager, John Roe - Honored to be Nominated for the 2017 Quality Built Superintendent Award

Fort Lauderdale, FL (Feb. 08, 2018) – Meritage Homes is an award-winning builder dedicated to building homes backed by detailed designs, quality craftsmanship, and a focus on setting the standard for energy efficiency. Meritage has proven their dedication to delivering quality homes to homeowners through their partnership with Quality Built (QB), a national third-party QA inspection company that has been around for over 20 years.

On January 9, 2018, it was announced at the QB Builder Awards that Meritage’s Construction Manager, John Roe, was nominated for the 2017 QB Superintendent Award. It is an honor to be nominated for this award, as Quality Built interacted with thousands of superintendents across the nation throughout their more than 3,500 projects inspected in 2017.

In construction, the Superintendent of a job holds a major responsibility on their shoulders. If they are not communicating job safety, sticking to schedule or actively working to establish accountability with their subcontractors, the success of the build-out could be at stake. According to his local Field Consultant, Tom Younger, “John Roe is a true partner in quality assurance, and takes his job very seriously. He is highly responsive and makes sure that he is constantly holding down a tight ship”.

What Does It Mean to Own a Quality Built Home?

Quality Built is a third-party quality assurance inspection company providing inspection services and technology-based solutions to builders across the United States for over 20 years. Their inspectors average over 25 years of experience in the industry and are comprised of licensed inspectors, architects and engineers. QB is committed to educating the building industry on construction code and building best practices. Through their program, builders can track and remediate anomalies, while providing their trade contractors with targeted training to ensure they are building to quality standards and therefore delivering to homeowners the quality home they deserve.

Not all builders use quality third-party inspections. Meritage is one of the few in the nation that has committed to providing homeowners with a dependable home that truly captures Life. Built. Better.
